Image Rights
Effective date:
Output
Output generated through Vrex Visual belongs to the Customer. To the extent Vixel AS (“Vixel”) holds any rights in output generated from the Customer’s inputs, Vixel assigns them to the Customer on delivery. Output may be used commercially without attribution.
Copyright in AI-generated output varies between jurisdictions. The assignment above transfers whatever rights Vixel holds.
Uploaded material
Material uploaded by the Customer — model viewpoints, photographs, reference images — remains the Customer’s property. Vixel receives only the licence required to operate the Service: to store the material, to process it to produce the requested output, and to display it to the Customer’s organization.
No training
Vixel does not use uploaded material, descriptions or output to train or fine-tune AI models. Generation is performed by AI models operated by Vixel’s providers, which are contractually prohibited from using Customer material to train or improve their models. The Privacy Policy describes what a generation request comprises.
Handling
- Files are held in private storage and accessed only through signed, short-lived links.
- Each organization’s material is segregated from every other organization’s at the database level.
- Deleting an image, a generation or the account removes the corresponding material; the Privacy Policy describes retention.
Customer responsibility
The Customer must hold the rights necessary to upload and process its material. Uploading a design does not require that the Customer authored it, but the Customer is responsible for having permission to use and process it.
Showcase
Vixel does not publish, exhibit or market Customer material or output without the Customer’s express permission. Any request to feature work is opt-in and revocable.
